3:05 Redcar result: Market Cross Jewellers Nursery Handicap Stakes

Mubehir Paul Mulrennan · Paul Midgley

Mubehir is yet to win in his last five starts, but he was second three starts back, returned just 23 days ago after a fifth last time out, and has run over today's trip and going before. Our top-rated runner at 70, he looks the one to beat, though an eighth two starts back is a reservation.

Cavan Lady Jason Hart · Stephen Hanlon

Cavan Lady is consistent, third last time out and a fourth two starts back, with a third four starts back too, and she has run over today's trip; our rating of 70 ranks her second of nine. The main risk is that she is yet to win in her last four starts, and 134 lb is a notable burden.

Lion of Persia George Wood · Robert Cowell

Lion of Persia bounces back from a poor eighth three starts back with a second last time out, and he has run over today's trip, so he rates a leading danger from stall one; the one concern is a 93-day break since that run.

Classyfied Duran Fentiman · Tim Easterby

Classyfied is consistent, finishing fourth last time out, and fourth again three and four starts back, and she's fresh from an 11-day turnaround. She has run over today's trip and going, and our rating of 67 sits above her official 60, though she is yet to win and carries 131 lb from stall 5.

Luna Lacy Jack Garritty · Adrian Nicholls

Luna Lacy has finished fourth, fifth and sixth in her last three starts, so she is consistent but yet to win, though she's fresh enough after 17 days and has run over today's trip and going. Carrying 130 lb from stall two, she looks a midfield type, with our rating of 60 putting her sixth of nine.

Dadawada Ryan Kavanagh(3) · Christopher Kellett

Dadawada is hard to fancy, having finished seventh last time out and being winless in her last five, with a fourth four starts back her best effort in that spell. She has run over today's trip and going and is back after 18 days, but ranks seventh of nine on our figures.

Johns Power Joanna Mason · Roger Fell

Johns Power arrives fairly fresh after 16 days, fourth last time out and a third two starts back, and he has run over today's trip and going before; yet to win in his last six, though, he looks a midfield type from draw 9, with our rating of 63 only fifth best of nine.

Redrosecastana Olivia Tubb(5) · Christopher Kellett

Redrosecastana is winless in his last four, finishing sixth last time out, and a ninth and a seventh before that, so he is hard to fancy. He has run over today's trip and going and is back after 16 days, but our rating of 37 ranks him last of nine.

Mr de Maggs Faye McManoman · Tony Culhane & Stella Barclay

Mr de Maggs is hard to fancy, unplaced in each of his last three starts and returning after 80 days off, while our figures rank him eighth of nine. On the plus side, he has run over today's trip and going before and is rated just 39 officially, carrying 116 lb from draw 8.
