3:40 Redcar result: Sam Hall Memorial Handicap Stakes

Hanney Girl Jake Dickson(5) · Tim Easterby

Hanney Girl is consistent without a win, finishing third and second in two of her last three before a fifth last time, and she's fresh enough after 16 days. She has run over today's trip and going, and our 77 is the top figure in the field; 135 lb is the one concern.

Castan Paul Mulrennan · Bryan Smart

Castan's form figures look modest, but he has run over today's trip and going, and a third three starts back is his best recent effort. Our rating of 75 ranks him second of ten, so he's a genuine threat from stall one; the risk is an eighth and a ninth in his last two, the ninth last time out, 27 days ago.

Emperor's Son Joanna Mason · Samantha & Jacqueline Coward

Beaten in an eighth last time out, though he was second two starts back and won six starts back, and he's back quickly after 11 days having run over today's trip and going before. Carrying 134 lb from draw 9, his 72 rating ranks him fifth of ten, which points to a midfield finish.

Sergeant Mayer Faye McManoman · Nigel Tinkler

Sergeant Mayer won three on the spin before a third last time out, and he has run over today's trip and going, but he is ranked eighth of ten on our figures and his 133 lb leaves him plenty to prove. Fifteen days since his last run keeps him fit, though.

North West Gal Roisin Leech(7) · John & Sean Quinn

North West Gal arrives with a win four starts back and a third five starts back, and she has run over today's trip and going before, while her 74 rating ranks third of ten. The risk is a 74-day absence after a fifth and a ninth in her last two starts before that.

Moira Express Lewis Edmunds · Simon Whitaker

Moira Express is winless in her last five, unplaced last time and a fifth two starts back, though a second three starts back and a third four starts back show she can get involved. She has run over today's trip and going, but carrying 132 lb from draw 3, she is hard to fancy with our figures ranking her ninth of ten.

Tees Aggregates Jack Garritty · Adrian Nicholls

Tees Aggregates bounced back with a third last time out after three unplaced runs, and he has run over today's trip and going, but a lone win six starts back shows how rarely he has got his head in front lately. Our rating of 71 leaves him seventh of ten, and he carries 131 lb from draw 7.

Dragon Spin Dougie Costello · Steph Hollinshead

Dragon Spin was third last time out and has run over today's trip and going, though she's won just once in her last six, a fifth start back being her best before that. Off 130 lb from stall five, our rating of 71 sits above her official 65, but ranking sixth of ten caps the enthusiasm.

Houndhill Cieren Fallon · Nigel Tinkler

Houndhill steps up on a solid recent profile, third last time out and a fourth two starts back after a win three starts back, and he has run over today's trip and going before. The main risk is a 31-day gap and 129 lb from stall 10, with our rating of 73 only fourth best of ten.

Wrestling Revenue Barry McHugh · Ben Haslam

Wrestling Revenue is winless in his last six, finishing fifth last time out and no better than a fifth in that spell, so he is hard to fancy as our bottom-ranked runner of ten. He has run over today's trip and going and gets in off 118 lb from stall two, but a 34-day break offers little encouragement.
